The Mizone 7in7 Challenge comprised of Malcolm running New Zealand's seven Great Walks in seven days; the equivalent of 9 marathons in 7 consecutive days! Check him out chatting about his adventures - interview 1 and interview 2.

Malcolm took a one year sabbatical, devoting 2009 to completing a personal mission and raising incredibly over $85,000 for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation (LBF).

Malcolm, who lost his older brother Alan in 1970 to leukaemia, said “Ever since Alan died I have cherished the idea of doing something amazing to help other families whose lives are affected by this cruel disease.”

Pru Etcheverry, LBF executive director, said “We are very humbled by Malcolm’s dedication and determination to raise awareness. With six children and adults diagnosed each day with leukaemia or a related blood condition, that support has never been more vital.”

All funds generated by the Mizone 7in7 Challenge were put towards LBF's Patient Support Service.
